The Clásico Regio is a football match in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. This match is between crosstown rivals Rayados and Tigres. Tigres is another football team from Monterrey as well. This match is known for being one of the most intense and competitive matches in Mexican football.
The first Clásico was back in 1974, the two teams have competed 104 times for bragging rights and city 'honor'. This week is the 105 match between both teams. The match is by far the most important and anticipated in Monterrey every season.
This Saturday September 19, 2015 Tigres receives Rayados of Monterrey for the 105 Clásico Regio in the corresponding match of the week nine of the Apertura 2015. Monterrey had a 1-1 draw at the week eight match vs Cruz Azul, in which now totals three games without a win, which could generate for Rayados some nerve and a sense of fear, a situation that can not promote anything good in the ground of game. Although as stated by many of the teams players this weeks game is more than just a game it's also bragging rights for all the aficionados of Monterrey and their perspective teams as well as stated the cities 'honor'.

preview Cruz Azul
This past two week was full of friendly FIFA matches all around the world. In our continent we had some great games between Mexico vs. Argentina and USA vs Brazil. Due to these matches between nations leagues usually stop activities since players are called up to play for their respective nations. With this said tomorrow Friday September 11, 2015 we kick off another week of games on this Apertura 2015.
Monterrey is visited by Cruz Azul this Saturday in their new stadium at about 19:00 hours as part of week eight of the Apertura 2015.
Monterrey comes into this match after a win in the game in the Copa MX, which filled them with confidence going into the eighth round of the Liga MX, Rayados is in eighth place so far with 10 points.
Rayados has 10 games unbeaten at home (6 wins and 4 draws) so with this I hope they win Saturday night. I can't wait to put on my jersey and cheer on for 90 minutes. dale PANDILLA!!!! TUN TUN TUN🎶

EST. 1945
My parents were born and raised in small towns from Nuevo Leon, Mexico hence I would travel a lot to Nuevo Leon as a kid up until I turned 17. Monterrey is the capital of Nuevo Leon, and it's one of the most beautiful cities I've traveled to. I got to have some of the best traveling experiences in that city. Like my first football match.
Although the beginning of Club de Futbol Monterrey was back in 1945. The team better known as 'Rayados' is a Mexican football club from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Who currently plays in the Liga MX. The team who is well known as 'Rayados'(the stripe ones) because of it's tradition of uniforms of navy blue and white stripes along with the teams crest. The first time I witnessed a game from this club at the age of 14, I never thought I would become such a die hard fan.
I am now 20 and have this undeniable love for the team as well as the sport. It's weird because I can watch soccer for hours and be so entertained. I enjoy watching the flow of the games, and the different styles and these talented players. The chemistry between players that make up a team. Teams build on so much history like the way 'Rayados' is.
